Answers before you begin
Frequently asked questions about online learning and certifications.
Practical answers, organised by topic. When a detail depends on a programme or external provider, we say so clearly.
01 / GETTING STARTED
First contact and choosing a route
What to send and what to ask before choosing a programme.
How do I get started?
Email the subject you are interested in, your goal and anything you know about your current level or experience. Ask about the options currently available and the next steps.
Do I need a placement test?
Share your background and objective. If an assessment is required for a specific programme, ask for the available process to be explained before you proceed.
When can I start and how much does it cost?
Ask for the current availability, schedule, start date and cost of the specific programme before deciding.
02 / ONLINE LEARNING
Format and technical requirements
The online environment differs between live languages and self-paced computer skills.
Is learning fully online?
Language and computer-skills learning is delivered online. The new website does not offer city selection, branches or in-person lesson locations. Educational tourism programmes are separate travel experiences presented only in English.
What is the difference between live and self-paced?
Language courses are presented as live online lessons with a teacher. Computer-skills preparation is asynchronous, so you can progress in your own time with videos, exercises and progress checks.
What equipment or application do I need?
Access instructions and technical requirements are provided before you begin. Online preparation and computer certification have more specific requirements, which are reconfirmed before activation or booking.
03 / PROGRAMMES & CERTIFICATIONS
Languages, computer skills and ASEP
The general routes are visible; details that change are confirmed case by case.
Which languages are taught?
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian and Greek for speakers of other languages. Availability of a specific level or certification-preparation route is confirmed before you begin.
Is language-exam preparation available?
Availability is considered by language, level and objective. The active provider, qualification, dates, exam fee and examination mode should not be assumed to be the same in every case.
How does computer-skills learning work?
Training is asynchronous and online, covering six modules: Word, Excel, Internet & Outlook, Windows/files, PowerPoint and Access. An advisor confirms which modules suit your objective.
Is computer certification suitable for ASEP?
The exact provider and certificate must be checked against the current ASEP appendix and the recruitment notice that applies to you. The dedicated page explains the process without promising universal acceptance.
